2022 Entrance Exam in Science Stream UG Admission Jadavpur University

 From this year, undergraduate admissions to colleges and universities in the state will be taken online centrally, through a portal.

The Admission Committee of Jadavpur University has agreed to the proposal to take entrance test for admission in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Geography at the undergraduate level. After that the final consent of the working committee will be taken. According to the source, the entrance test for admission in the art branch was taken earlier but it was not done in science. The admission committee of the science branch met on Wednesday.

Entrance test is taken in advance in various subjects of art branch of Jadavpur. This time various subjects of science are also going to be associated with the entrance exam. According to sources, the English, Bengali, comparative literature, philosophy, international relations, history and sociology departments of the arts branch are looking to take the entrance exam.

In all the subjects for which the entrance examination will be held, the merit list of the students will be prepared with 50 percent of the marks obtained in the final examination and 50 percent of the marks obtained in the entrance examination. However, the Sanskrit department of the arts branch is willing to take admission only on the basis of the marks obtained in the final examination. They do not want to take admission.
