Important Dates

- Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Ph.D Entrance Examination 2023 (Written Aptitude Test ) for determining eligibility for admission to Full-time/Part-time research leading to Ph.D Degree.
- Offline applications will not be accepted
- The University reserves the right to reject any application for proper reasons adduced therewith without prior notice
- Candidates awaiting results of their Post Graduate Examination are permitted to appear in the Entrance Test for the Ph.D Programme. However, such candidates shall submit the Provisional / Original Certificate obtained at the time of the Doctoral Interview.
- The validity of the results of the candidates of the Ph.D Entrance Test will be two successive chances from the date of publication of the Test results.
- Admission of Written Aptitude Test is only provisional. Qualifying in the Ph.D Entrance Examination alone does not imply that the candidates have become eligible for Ph.D registration in the University which will be subject to verification of the original certificates, fulfilling other eligibility criteria at the time of Doctoral Interview and the vacancies existing under each subject. This is only an Aptitude Test and eligible candidates have to apply separately at the time of registration to the Programmes.

Admission to entrance test is only provisional. Pass in entrance test is not a guarantee to admission for PhD programme, which will be subject to verification of the original certificates and fulfilling other eligibility criteria at the time of Doctoral interview.
