Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained:

A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related Subject at the previous qualifying examination.

OR

55% marks in the subject or related Subject at the previous qualifying examination.

OR

50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all the other clauses are satisfied.

Candidates belonging to Schedule Cast or Schedule Tribe Community

Candidates belonging to Schedule Cast or Schedule Tribe community taking up Honours Course or study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related Subject at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be. Caste Certificate Issued and signed by approppriate authorities not below the rank of SDO of West Bengal Government can be acceptable fail to provied then your admission will be cancelled other state candidate who belong to SC,ST,OBC-A and OBC-B catogry are treated as a GENERAL candidate as per rule

FOR OTHER BOARD CANDIDATES:

Except WBCHSE, CBSC, ISC and National Institute of Open Schooling, other board candidates have to submit the Migration Certificate for getting Registration under the University.
