2021 Midnapore College PG Admission Notification And Merit Lists

 

PG ONLINE APPLICATION IS ON FOR THE PERIOD 21/08/2021 2:28AM TO 20/09/2021 11:59PM

a)      Admission into the PG Courses: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Physiology, Botany, Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Philosophy, History, Computer Science & Geography will be made strictly on Online Merit Based Admission System.

b)      Minimum Eligibility Criteria for application:

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Geography	CGPA 7.0 in Graduation. CGPA 6.65 for applicants of Reserved Category
Zoology, Physiology, Botany and Computer Science	CGPA 6.5 in Graduation. CGPA 6.175 for applicants of Reserved Category
Bengali and English	CGPA 6.0 in Graduation. CGPA 5.70 for applicants of Reserved Category
Sanskrit, History, Political Science and Philosophy	CGPA 5.5 in Graduation. CGPA 5.225 for applicants of Reserved Category

 

c)      Online Application Forms for admission will be available free of cost from Midnapore College website – www.midnaporecollege.ac.in from 21.08.2021 to 20.09.2021 upto 12 p.m. (Midnight)

d)      Provisional Merit List for 80% Category (From Parent University only) will be published on 21.09.2021 at 12 noon

e)      Final Merit List for 80% Category (From Parent University only) will be published on 22.09.2021 at 12 noon

f)       Admission in 80% Category (From Parent University only) from 1^st Allowed List for admission purely on Online Admission System on and from 22.09.2021 at 1-00 p.m. to 23.09.2021 (Midnight)

g)      2^nd Allowed List for admission of 80% Category (From Parent University only) (if seats are available) will be published on 24.09.2021 at 10-00 a.m. and the admission is purely on Online Admission System on and from 24.09.2021 at 11-00 a.m. to 25.09.2021 (Midnight)

h)      Admission in the rest 20% seats (subject wise) will be made from among the candidates of the Parent University as well as of the other Universities on merit basis.

i)        Provisional Merit List for 20% Category (From All Universities) will be published on 26.09.2021 at 12 noon

j)        Final Merit List for 20% Category (From All Universities) will be published on 27.09.2021 at 12 noon

k)      Admission in 20% Category (From All Universities) purely on Online Admission System on and from 27.09.2021 at 1-00 p.m. to 28.09.2021 (Midnight)

l)        2^nd Merit List of 20% Category (From All Universities) (if seats are available) will be published on 29.09.2021 at 10-00 a.m. and the admission is purely on Online Admission System on and from 29.09.2021 at 12 noon to 30.09.2021 (Midnight)

m)    All admissions are provisional and will be cancelled during verification and any time for incorporation of incorrect data or false statements.

n)      All admissions will be made as per existing Reservation Policy of the State Government. The Candidates will have to produce SC/ST/OBC/PWD Certificates in original at the time of Verification.

o)      Date of Induction Meeting will be published in the College website later.

p)      The Attendance of a candidate admitted will not be less than 80% in every 10 days of 1^st Semester. If found so, the admission of such candidate will be cancelled.

q)      If a candidate cancels his/ her admission, the required Admission Cancellation Fees has to be deposited before such cancellation.
