ADMISSION—2020 (For Class XI) [ONLY FOR BOYS]
(For the students of other institutions)
Only a few deserving students from other institutions are admitted to Class-XI in the science
stream (English Medium).
Application forms can be submitted online in the school website at www.rkmvnarendrapur.org.
No offline forms will be issued. Boys appearing at Class-X board examination in 2020 may
apply.
Students willing to apply must secure at least 95% marks in each subject in the Science Group and 70% marks in each subject in the Language Group in the Class X Selection Test of their School or Board Examination.

On the basis of the uploaded Board marks & marks of the selection test, the candidates will be
shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a virtual interview on a suitable date to
be announced later on. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be published on 20th July, 2020 at 4 p.m.

On the basis of the result of Board Examination 2020 the candidates will be shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a virtual interview on a suitable date to be announced later on. (For the students of own Vidyalaya)
• Boys of our Vidyalaya appearing at Madhyamik Pariksha 2020 may collect forms for
admission to Class XI in the Science Stream from our Vidyalaya office and submit the
same Admission Forms available at Rs. 600/- only in the school office between 11 a.m.
& 4 p.m. from 26th February to 28th February, 2020.

• A list of the selected candidates (on the basis of marks obtained in class IX & X and
past conduct) for admission to Class XI will be published on 2nd March, 2020.
• Those not selected may appear at the Admission Test to be held on Saturday, 4th April,
2020. One has to fulfill the criteria to fill up the Form for the said Admission Test. Only
the boys qualifying at the Written Test will be called for an Interview.
• The selected candidates along with their guardians should report for admission on
03.03.2020 (Tuesday) at 11 a.m. at Vidyalaya (Senior Section) and complete the
admission formalities. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the seat.
• Class-XI boys will join the hostel on Sunday, 19th April 2020.
• Documents to be submitted along with the applications form: i) SC/ST/OBC Certificate, if applicable ii) Photocopies of the Registration Certificate, Admit Card and Aadhaar Card iii) Marksheet of Madhyamik Pariksha (to be submitted after the publication of the Board result) iv) Latest colored passport size photographs (4 copies)

ADMISSION—2020 (For Class V) [ONLY FOR BOYS]
Admission Test Result
The following boys have been provisionally selected for an interview to be held according to the schedule given below. Presence of both the parents/guardians is necessary at the time of interview. Failure to appear for the interview at the scheduled date/time will result in the forfeit of the seat. If selected, the guardians have to secure admission by paying Rs. 37,000 (Rupees Thirty Seven Thousand only) towards fees and charges on or before 13 December, 2019, 4 PM. Payment may be made by either Demand Draft (drawn in favour of “RKMA Vidyalaya Students’ Home, Narendrapur”) or any type of Card.

Class V Admission - 2020
Headmaster
Eligibility:
Boys now reading in Class IV or V are eligible for admission test for class V. Candidates having no formal education in any school are not eligible. Age : Between 10 and 11 years of age as on 1st January, 2020 (i.e, born between 02.01.2009 and 01.01.2010).
Marks :
For General Category : Boys should secure 60% marks in Bengali / Hindi, 60% marks in English & 70% marks in Mathematics in their last Annual Examination or last Half-yearly Examination.
For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B : Boys should secure 55% marks in Bengali / Hindi, 55% marks in English & 65% marks in Mathematics in their last Annual Examination or last Half-yearly Examination.
In cases where no marks is awarded and only grading is done, exact percentage of marks and conversion formula adopted are to be mentioned with documentary evidence, if required.
Application: Applications can be submitted through ONLINE ONLY in the School’s website at http://www.rkmvnarendrapur.org. No OFFLINE form will be issued.

Closing date for submission of online application: 23rd November, 2019 upto 1-00 p.m.
Last date of payment of fees: 23rd November, 2019 upto 2-00 p.m.
After successful payment the ADMIT CARD will be auto generated and can be downloaded after 72 hours of successful payment.
Please download and print the Admit card and affix a recent passport size coloured photograph in the prescribed slot and carry it to the admission centre. Without admit card no candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination hall.

Admission Test: Admission Test for the boys of English Medium and Bengali Medium will be held on Sunday, the 1st December, 2019 at 12-30 p.m.
Boys seeking admission to English Medium will have to sit for the Written Tests in Bengali or Hindi, English & Mathematics. Here Bengali or Hindi is the First Language in English Medium, and English is the Second Language.
Boys seeking admission to Bengali Medium will have to sit for the Written Tests in Bengali, English & Mathematics.
There will be three papers carrying 150 marks in total (Bengali/Hindi: 50; English: 50; Mathematics: 50). The duration of the Test for each is 45 minutes.
The syllabuses meant for Classes IV and V prescribed by different Boards or Councils will be covered mainly. Emphasis is given on the basic concepts or fundamentals of the subjects, simple and correct sentences with right spellings of words and good handwriting etc.
