The forms submitted for admission in the english medium, Science Section by the first 50 candidates, will be considered as eligible for direct admission. A merit list may be prepared and uploaded taking the consideration from form no. 51 onwards, in case there is any vacancy (Total number of seats in English medium , Science Section is 50).

1. Applications are to be accepted through online procedure.
2. Name of the Applicant (in block letters) is to be filled up according to the admit card of the Madhyamik or its equivalent examinations.
3. Category: Please select GEN/SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B and PH.
4. Date of Birth (DOB)is to be written according to the admit card (in dd/mm/yyyy format).
5. Candidates are to be selected according to the result in Madhyamik or its equivalent examinations.
6. The candidates, who have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examinations before 2016, will not to be considered for admission in class XI (2020-21).
7. The school authority has the right to cancel the admission if any information in the application form is found to be suppressed or wrong. The decision of the school authority is final in case of admission.
8. All admissions are provisional until the school authority approves. Please check the Admission Status after successfully completed all the procedures.
9. Applicants have to provide email address in the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

For students of Burdwan Municipal High School (Homestudent)

• SCIENCE - BENGALI MEDIUM:75% marks in Science group (225 out of 300) and 70% marks in aggregate (i.e. 490) in the Secondary examination.
• COMMERCE: Students of Burdwan Municipal High School who have passed the Secondary examination will be eligible for applying in COMMERCE section.
• HUMANITIES/ARTS:45% marks in aggregate.
• Students who secured minimum 50% marks in Geography and overall 45% marks in aggregate will be eligible to apply for Geography in Arts section.
• Students who secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics will be eligible to apply for Mathematics in Arts and Commerce section.

For students of Other Schools

• SCIENCE-(BENGALI MEDIUM):Students who have secured minimum 90% marks in aggregate (630/700) and 90% marks in Mathematics, Physical Science and Life Science (Science-Group) in the Madhyamik examination will be eligible for applying in SCIENCE Section.
• COMMERCE SECTION:Students who have secured minimum 40% marks in aggregate (i.e. 280 out of 700) will be eligible to apply for Commerce section.
• HUMANITIES/ARTS SECTION:Students, who have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the Secondary Examination 2020, will be eligible to apply for Arts.
• Students who have secured minimum 60% marks in Geography and overall 50% marks in aggregate will be eligible for applying Geography in Arts Section.
• Students who have secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics will be eligible to apply for Mathematics in Arts and Commerce section.
• Relaxation of 5% marks in each category of SC, ST and OBC students (except students of Burdwan Municipal High School seeking Science) will be given as per rule.
