Famous playback singer Nirmala Mishra has been hospitalised on 03 December 2018, Monday at a private nursing home. The aged singer is suffering from pneumonia. She is stable now.
Nirmala Mishra’s nephew Dilip Mishra said “The responsibility of her treatment has been taken by Bobby Hakim on behalf of the West Bengal government. We are grateful to the government.”
Nirmala Mishra was born in Majilpur, as the daughter of Pandit Mohinimohana Mishra and Bhabani Devi. Nirmala Mishra was a play back singer of Odia movies in the 1960s and 1970s. She was considered as the Lata Mangeshkar of Odia movies.
