(English Medium)

The following boys have been provisionally selected for an interview to be held according to the schedule given below. Presence of both the parents/guardians is necessary at the time of interview. Admit cards should be submitted at the time of interview. Failure to appear for the interview at the scheduled date/time will result in the forfeit of the seat. If selected, the guardians have to secure admission by paying Rs 36,000 (Rupees Thirty Six Thousand only) towards fees and charges on or before 14 December, 2018, 11 AM. Payment may be made by either Demand Draft (drawn in favour of “RKMA Vidyalaya Students’ Home, Narendrapur”) or any type of Card.

Admission is open to Class V, both Bengali and English Medium. Being a residential school, all the boys should live in the hostels. The school is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Boys are admitted here after admission test and interview. 

Important Information

Age : Between 10 and 11 years of age as on 1st January, 2019 (i.e, born between 02.01.2008 and 01.01.2009).
However boys who have completed / will be completing class IV at a lesser age as on 1st January 2018, are also eligible to apply.
Boys should secure 60% marks in Bengali / Hindi and English & 70% marks in Mathematics in their last Annual Examinations or Half-yearly Examination, whichever applicable.
In case of Grade System, the above criteria of marks should be maintained.


 Issue of Application kits (OFFLINE) :

Application Forms, etc. will be issued on all working days between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and again between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Tuesday, 13th November to Monday, 26th November, 2018 from the Vidyalaya Admission Office on production of the original / attested copies of Age Proof Certificate and Progress Report. Application Forms are not sent by post. The cost of Application Form, 


Prospectus and an outline of Syllabus and Sample Questions including the Registration Fee amounts to Rs. 500/- only.

 Issue of Application Form (ONLINE) :

Application Forms for admission to class V will be available for download (please use 75 GSM A4 size white paper) online from our website from 01.10.2018 to 24.11.2018, 4 p.m.


 Acceptance of filled Application Forms :
Original Application Forms fully filled in by the parents themselves or legal guardians (not local guardians or representatives) along with the attested copies of Age Proof Certificate and Progress Report will be accepted on all working days between 10.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Wednesday, 14th November to Monday, 26th November, 2018. Application Forms sent by post will not be accepted. Incomplete application forms also won’t be accepted.

Admission Test :

Admission Test for the boys of English Medium and Bengali Medium will be held on Sunday, the 2nd December, 2018 at 12-30 p.m.

Boys seeking admission to English Medium will have to sit for the Written Tests in Bengali or Hindi, English & Mathematics. Here Bengali or Hindi is the First Language in English Medium, and English is Second Language.


Boys seeking admission to Bengali Medium will have to sit for the Written Tests in Bengali, English & Mathematics.
