for Honours Course (General Category)
a)B.A.
and B.Sc. Honours
A candidate intending to take up Honours course in a
subject must have obtained:
i.A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate (Calculated by adding the marks in top four subjects
(except environmental studies) in order of marks secured by a student) and 45% marks in the
concerned subject or related subject* (See List of Related Subjects) at the
previous qualifying examination.
OR
ii. 55% marks in the concerned subject or
related subjects*
OR
iii.50% marks in the aggregate, when the subject is not studied. (provided all other clauses are satisfied)
iv.Marks in compulsory Environmental
Education/Studies will not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If
the subject Environmental Science is studied as an elective subject of 100
marks, it may be taken in to account for the purpose of determining the
aggregate marks.
II.B.Com.
Honours
i.A minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate (Calculated by adding the marks in top four subjects
(except environmental studies) in order of marks secured by a student) and 60% marks in the
concerned subject or related subject* (See List of Related Subjects) at the
previous qualifying examination.
