Sushma Swaraj in Hospital because of kidney failure

Sushma Swaraj 

Union Minister Sushma Swaraj is in hospital because of kidney failure and is going through tests for a transplant. The 64-year-old External Affairs Minister was admitted to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi on 15 November 2016. Sushma is on dialysis.


Sushma Swaraj tweeted: "I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless"

The minister has been diabetic for nearly 20 years.
