The opposition parties called for a nationwide strike - Bharat Bandh on 28 November against the demonetisation drive by the Narendra Modi government.
Today a united opposition attacked the Modi government over poor implementation of demonetisation. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said describing demonetisation a “monumental management failure” said that it would lead to dip in GDP growth by at least 2 per cent.
Who are supporting the Bandh
Till now it is not clear which parties are supporting the Bandh. Let's wait and watch which parties are looking for a bandh on 28 November, Monday. Bandhs are normally called on Mondays in our country but this time a bandh after bank holiday may increase troubles for common people, for whom the opposition is for whom they are fighting - at least they are demanding.
