University of Calcutta PhD Admission notification

 University of Calcutta PhD Entrance Test 2016 Notification has been announced. Applications are invited for admission to PhD Program in Ceramic Engineering, Oil Technology, Petrochemicals & Petroleum Refinery Engg, Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Technology under Department of Chemical Technology for the session 2016. Admission will be done through an entrance test.

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 05th February 2016

Date of Entrance Test: 12th February 2016 (12.00 Noon)

Publication of List of Successful Candidates: Display in the Notice Board

Date of Interview: 25th February 2016 (02 pm onwards)

Total No. of Seats: 11 (Ceramic Engg-04, Petrochem. & Petroleum Refinery Engg-01, Oil Technology-03, Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Tech-03)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have degree in Bachelor of Technology or Master of Science (without NET/SET/SLET/GATE) securing 55% marks

Candidates having degree in Master of Technology or Equivalent or Master of Science (with NET/SET/SLET/GATE) securing 55% marks are eligible to apply

Selection Procedure

Candidates having degree in Bachelor of Technology or Master of Science, the selection will be done through entrance test & interview

Candidates having degree in Master of Technology or equivalent or Master of Science (with NET/SET/SLET/GATE), the selection will be done through interview only
