West Bengal Primary TET exam 2015 will be held on 11 October 2015, Sunday. Duration of the exam is 2 hrs 30 minutes. The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Examination will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on 11-10-2015
Earlier it was scheduled to be held on 30 August 2015 but the date was cancelled as two bags of question papers for TET exam 2015 were missing from the bus which was carrying the papers. On that day Education Minister Partho Chottopadhyay announced that TET Exam 2015 will be held on 04 October 2015 (Sunday).

The reasons, as stated for further changing the TET exam 2015 date are as follows:
1. Asansol and Bidhannagar Corporation election will be held on 3 October. Security will be busy in those elections and many schools of those areas will be taken for the election so it is impossible to manage TET exam on 04 October 2015.
2. Administration is busy with flood relief works.
2. Many central examinations for job including central TET is scheduled to be held on 04 October 2015.
