On 12 May, Suchitra Bhattacharya went to bathroom at about 10.30 pm and suddenly felt uneasiness. She came back lied down on her bed. Immediately doctor was called. Doctor came and declared her dead.
Only daughter of Suchitra Bhattacharya resides in Bangalore. Last rituals will be completed after the arrival of her daughter.
Suchitra Bhattacharya was born on 10 January 1850 at Bhagalpur, Bihar. Suchitra Bhattacharya graduated from the Jogamaya Devi College of University of Calcutta.
Suchitra Bhattacharya has written 24 novels and many short stories. Famous novels of Suchitra Bhattacharya are:
