Admission to Ph. D. in Chemistry Calcutta University

University of Calcutta invites application from eligible candidates admission to Ph. D. in Chemistry under the university.

Interested candidates have to apply after paying Rs. 100/‐ in the University Cash Counter through a challan obtainable from the cash Counter at University of Calcutta.  

Important Information

 MCQ examination will be held on 21 November at 12.00 noon. The MCQ paper will be based on B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. Sc. Syllabi of this University. Separate sets of questions will be there to suit the specializations of the candidates. The choice of specialization for examination purpose will rest on the student and is not restricted to his / her discipline of research.

Successful candidates will be called for an interview/ counseling on the same day  of examination at 3:00 p.m.

Candidates who already cleared the NET/SET/SLET/ GATE/Teacher Fellowship/equivalent examination, or passed the M. Phil. / M. Tech. / equivalent examination can directly appear at the interview.
