Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 will be held on 24 May 2015. Candidates have to appear JEE(Main) 2015 before appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2015. JEE(Main) 2015 is likely to be held in April 2015.
Candidates who are among the top 1,50,000 (all the categories) in JEE(Main) 2015 can only appear for the JEE(Advanced) 2015. The category-wise percentage is:
General - 50.5 %
OBC-NCL - 27 %
SC - 15 %
ST - 7.5 %
Age Limit
The General category candidates should have been born on or after 1 October 1990 and for OBC-NCL, SC/ST 1 October 1985.
The candidates are eligible for appearing consecutive two times in JEE (advanced).
Paper Pattern
The examination is divided into two sections:
Paper 1 (9 am to 12 pm)
Paper 2 (2 pm to 5 pm)
