2014 Indian Super League Inauguration venue and timings
Inauguration Programme of Indian Super League will be held at Salt Lake Stadium on 12 October 2014, Sunday.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wiil inaugurate the 2014 Indian Super League (ISL) on 12 October 2014 at 17.00 hrs.
At 17.30 hrs cultural programme will start. Bollywood film stars like Varun Dhawan, Priyanka Chopra and other 500 artists will participate in the programme. Laser show will be in the programme.
At 18.15 hrs franchise owners of ISL teams will take a lap of the stadium. Bigwigs of Bollywood, cricket and corporate world will participate in this event. Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan (Chennai), Salman Khan (Pune), John Abraham (Guwahati), Ranbir Kapoor (Mumbai), Varun Dhawan (Goa), Sachin Tendulkar (Kerala) and Sourav Ganguly have confirmed their participation. Icon players of the teams may also participate. Eight eminent singers will lead the eight teams.
At 19.00 hrs the 11-week-long tournament will be kicked off with the home side Atletico de Kolkata squaring up against Mumbai City FC.
