Admission to the Ph.D. (Tech) in University of Calcutta

 

               

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. (Tech) program of the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics in University of Calcutta. Application forms are available at cash counter of the University.

Eligibility 

Candidates having an M.Sc. / 4-year B.E. or B.Tech. / post-B.Sc 3 year B.Tech degree can apply and they will have to appear in a written admission test followed by an interview. Candidates having M.Tech / M.Phil degrees or who have passed NET / GATE / SLET / SET / equivalent examinations need not appear at the written examination and are entitled directly to appear at the interview.

Important Dates

Last date of application: 8 August 2014 by 12:00 noon.

Date and Time of written examination: 26 August 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata - 700 009.

Interview Date and Time: 8 September and 9 September from 12:00 noon onwards in the Department.
