1. Admission to B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. General and Honours course will be made on the basis of marks/ grade obtained by the candidate at the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by affiliated University and other criteria as stated by the institution.
2. Separate application forms must be submitted for separate combination codes.
3. Admission be made strictly on the basis of merit.

4. Students seeking admission are required to pass at least four subjects including one language and excluding Environmental Science/ Studies , being each paper of at least 100 marks. Merit list will be prepared by considering the aggregate / best Four as well as the relevant subject(s) (The mechanism may be revised as per university guideline).

5. Admission in all honours subjects will be made through counselling process. If any candidate fails to attain counselling, his/her right for admission will be forfeited.
6. No candidate will be allowed to take up a subject if he/she could not obtain PASS MARK in the said subject at the previous qualifying examination.
7. Applicants are directed to submit separate application forms for different Honours subjects & different combinations e.g. English (Hons.), Bengali (Hons.), B.A. (General) etc. They must put tick (√) marks in the box against proper category.
