MHS had till last year kept an Indian Language compulsory in the ISC Course. In 2023-24, we decided to keep it optional as many felt that it would further their careers if they took up another elective subject instead.
However, we feel that in the best interest of our students we should return to our old policy.
With effect from 2024, one Indian language will be compulsory in Classes 11 and 12 for all MHS students who are Indian citizens.
It is to be noted that the NEP 2023 has mandated that one Indian Language is offered by all students in Class 11 and 12.
