Admission to M.B.A. Course for the Session 2013 - 2014
Now, students can apply for admission in Goenka College for the academic session 2013-2014, for 1st year B.Com. Honours Course in Accounting and Finance under the University of Calcutta.
Criteria for admission in this College
The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary or +2 or any other equivalent examination in 2013 as a regular candidate with at least five subjects of 100 marks each including English and any one of the following related subjects, viz.,Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organisation, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office Practice and Secretarial, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accountancy and Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy and Principle of Management.
Cut-off marks for students in the college
For General category and Persons with Disabilities Category Candidates : 65% in aggregate and 60% in the related subject.
For SC/ST Candidates of West Bengal only: 50% in aggregate and 45% in the related subject.
Another best of four criteria-
Aggregate Percentage of marks is to be calculated by considering the best marks obtained in the four subjects(best of four) excluding the compulsory Environmental Education / Studies.
» Selection Procedure :
Selection of candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit.
The merit list will be published on the official website of Goenka College separately for the Morning Section and the Day Section.It is advisable to candidates to mention their first choice either for Morning or for Day section. They are also entitledto exercise their second choice for a particular section, if any.
Taking and submitting admission forms-
The Application Form will only be available online and not by any other means. It is advisable to the candidates to fill up the application form online without leaving any space vacant as if any space is left vacant, that form will simply be rejectedby the office of the College.The form can be downloaded from the official website of the College,www.goenkacollegeadmissions.com. Candidates will have to deposit the online application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 60/- (including Bank Charges) to the Bank Account No. 1194104000008952 of INDIAN BANK.

Seats will be allocated among the candidates of WBCHSE and Other Board/Council on the basis of the ratio of number of valid applications received from candidates of WBCHSE and Other Board/Council by the College.
Points to be noted
1) Forms must be submitted within 05.06.2013 to 19.06.2013
2) Online Application Fee must be deposited within 06.06.2013 to 20.06.2013
3 Provisional Merit List and Provisional Waiting List will be published on 25.06.2013
4) Admission Schedule will be notified later on.
Important Points relating to Privisional Merit List and Admission :
If any listed applicant fails to reach the scheduled place on scheduled date and time of admission as notified he/she will not get any further chance of admission. In case the applicant is absent, the applicant next to him/her in the merit list will get the chance.request for considering the absence on the scheduled date and time on any ground cannot be entertained.

Two (2) recent stamp-sized colour photographs.
College copy of the Challan stamped by the Bank on receipt of money.

SC/ST certificate in original.
Photocopy of the SC / ST certificate.
For physically Handicapped students—
Physically Challenged certificate in original.
Photocopy of the Physically Handicapped Certificate.
