President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress committee and chief ministerial aspirant, G Parameshwara, loses in Karatagere.

Former chief minister and Karnataka Janatha Paksha supremo B S Yeddyurappa wins in Shikaripura by over 15,000 votes.
