In 1984 lok sabha election of Gujarat state, O Bharatbhai Maldevji of INC defeated R. K. Amin of BJP and won the Porbandar lok sabha seat.
In 1989 lok sabha election of Gujarat state, M B Bachubhai of JD defeated O B Maldevji of INC and won the Porbandar lok sabha seat.
In 1991 lok sabha election of Gujarat state, P Hiralal Madhavjibhai of BJP defeated M Balwantbhai Bachubhai of JD and won the Porbandar lok sabha seat.
