PSC West Bengal will conduct recruitment examination 2012 to recruit eligible candidates in different posts. The posts are as follows:

Essential Qualification: Candidates should have completed graduation in any stream and ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is a must candidates excepting Nepali speaking candidates.

Age limits: Candidates age should be between 20 to 32 years as on 1 January 2012.

Selection of candidates will be done through different steps:

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination 

Personality Test.

Preliminary examination will be held in different locations in West Bengal like: Kolkata (N), Kolkata (S), Baruipur, Barasat, Howrah, Chinsurah, Burdwan, Asansol, Midnapore, Tamluk, Bankura, Berhampore, Malda, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Siliguri and Darjeeling. The examination will be in the month of March 2012.

Candidates qualifying preliminary examination will have to appear in main written examination in September 2013 in Kolkata and the personality test will also be in Kolkata.

Application fee: Postal order of Rs. 160 or Treasury Challan. No application fee for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

2 Nos. passport size photographs (one copy self signed and pasted on the form and other copy as enclosures)
