In 2007 assembly election of Gujarat state, Parmar Ramsinh Prabhatsinh of INC defeated Chauhan Bhagvansinh Raysinh of BJP and won the Thasra  assembly seat.

 In 2002 assembly election of Gujarat state, Chauhan Bhagvansinh Raysinh of BJP defeated Parmar Ramsinh Prabhatbhai of INC and won the Thasra  assembly seat. 

In 1998 assembly election of Gujarat state, Parmar Ramsinh Prabhatbhai of INC defeated Patel Vijaybhai Fulabhai of BJP and won the Thasra  assembly seat. 

In 1995 assembly election of Gujarat state, Parmar Ramsinh Prabhatbhai of INC defeated Patel Vijaybhai Fulabhai - an independent candidate and won the Thasra  assembly seat.
