Curzon Gate in Bardhaman: The famous Curzon gate was constructed by Maharaja of Bardhaman, Bijoy Chand Mahatab in 1903 to welcome Lord Curzon. Name of the gate was in honour of Lord Curzon. Name of Curzon gate has been changed to Vijoy Toran, still it is popular as Curzon gate. This is the famous gate at the centre of Bardhaman town. It was constructed by the Bardhaman maharaja to welcome Lord Curzon. Location of Curzon gate is within 1 km. from the Bardhaman railway station and bus terminus. Architectural view of Curzon gate is magnificent.
Tomb of Sher Afghan in Bardhaman : Sher Afghan was the last Afghan jagirdar of Bardhaman. The tomb of Sher Afghan is located at Pir Beharam near Rajbati of Bardhaman. Beauty queen, Noorjahan was wife of Sher Afghan. Sher Afghan and Mughal emperor Jahangir had a rift and to control Sher Afghan, Jahangir send Kutubuddin to Bardhaman. Both died at the war in 1610 AD and they were buried at the burial ground of Pir Baharam. Rajbati at Bardhaman is within a distance of one to one and half km from Bardhaman railway station. Rajbati or Uddaypally bound town service buses are available from rail station. One can reach the place via rickshaw also.
Golap Bag in Bardhaman: Golap Bag, or the Garden of Roses at Bardhaman is the heart of Bardhaman town. The Botanical and Zoological Garden at Golap bag were established by King Bijoy Chand Mahatab in 1884. Golap bag is situated at one km. from the Bardhaman railway station and can be reached there by town service buses. Golap Bag, Rajbati or Uddaypally bound town service buses pass through the location and are available from Bardhaman rail station. One can reach the place via rickshaw also.

Nabab Hat can be reached via town service buses and also via Asansol and Guskara bound buses.

Sarvamangala Mandir in Bardhaman: It is said that Sarvamangala Mandir contains the remnant of Sati's body. This temple is situated in Sarbamangala Road. The goddess in this temple is Sarbamangala, which is a form of goddess Durga. The idol of goddess Sarvamangala is little bit different from conventional idols of goddess Durga. The idol is made up of black precious stone with 18 hands. The goddess was eastablished in 1740 A.D. by the king Kirti Chand.

Konkaleswari Kali Mandir in Bardhaman: This is actually an ashram situated in Kanchan Nagar at Bardhaman town. This is a famous temple of goddess Kali. The idol of goddess Kali is made of stone with 8 hands. Konkaleswari Kali Mandir is 2000 years old. Idol of goddess Kali was found from the river bed of Damodor in 1923.
