2019 Lok Sabha election result was in favour of BJP. Jagannath Sarkar of BJP defeated his nearest rival Rupali Biswas of AITC. Jagannath Sarkar got 783,254 votes and won the Ranaghat Lok Sabha constituency seat. Rupali Biswas got 5,49,825 votes.
2014 Lok Sabha election result was in favour of Trinamool Congress. Tapas Mandal of Trinamool Congress defeated his nearest rival Archana Biswas of CPI (M). Tapas Mandal got 590,451 votes and won the Ranaghat Lok Sabha constituency seat. Archana Biswas got 388,684 votes.
2009 Lok Sabha election result was in favour of Trinamool Congress. Sucharu Ranjan Halder of Trinamool Congress defeated his nearest rival Basudeb Barman of CPI (M). Sucharu Ranjan Halder got 575,058 votes and won the Ranaghat Lok Sabha constituency seat. Basudeb Barman got 473,235 votes.
