Assembly constituencies under the Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency are Islampur, Goalpokhar, Chakulia, Karandighi, Hemtabad, Kaliaganj and Raiganj.

 In 2009 Lok Sabha election, Deepa Dasmunsi of Congress defeated her nearest rival Bireswar Lahiri of CPI (M). Deepa Dasmunsi got 451,776 votes and Bireswar Lahiri got 346,573 votes.

In 2004 Lok Sabha election, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi of Congress defeated his nearest rival Subrata Mukherjee of CPI (M). Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi got 45.98% of votes and Subrata Mukherjee got 41.71 % of votes and won the Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency seat.

In 1999 Lok Sabha election, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi of Congress defeated his nearest rival Nar Bahadur Khatiwara of Congress. Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi of Congress got 46.74% of votes and Nar Bahadur Khatiwara got 38.15 % of votes and won the Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency seat.

In 1998 Lok Sabha election, Subrata Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi of Congress. Subrata Mukherjee got 39.76% of votes and Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi of Congress got 39.05 % of votes and won the Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency seat.

In 1996 Lok Sabha election, Subrata Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest  rival Golam Yazdani of Congress. Subrata Mukherjee got 43.79% of votes and Golam Yazdani of Congress got 42.54 % of votes and won the Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency seat.

In 1991 Lok Sabha election, Subrata Mukherjee of CPI (M) defeated his nearest rival Golam Yazdani of Congress. Subrata Mukherjee got 41.85% of votes and Golam Yazdaniof Congress got 37.80% of votes and won the Raiganj Lok Sabha constituency seat.
