Indian Air Force will hold open recruitment for number of posts. The recruitment process will be held at Berhampore Stadium, Berhampore, Murshidabad in West Bengal. Unmarried persons from West Bengal and Sikkim can apply.

Post: Airmen - Group ‘X’ Technical Trades
The trades are: Workshop Fitter (Mechanical), Workshop Fitter (Smith), Structure Fitter & Propulsion Fitter, Weapon Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Electronics Fitter, Mechanical System Fitter and Automobile Fitter.

Essential Qualification: Higher secondary or equivalent pass with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Candidates should have Mathematics, Physics and English as main subjects.

Candidates with 3 years Engineering Diploma with 50% aggregate marks can also apply. The Engineering streams are: Mechanical,  Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology and  Information Technology.

Physical Standard for candidates appearing for the job

Height: 152.5cms
Chest: ability to expand by 5cms
Weight: proportional to height.

Willing candidates have to appear at in the rally at Behrampore Stadium, Behrampore, Murshidabad in West Bengal with the following items with them:

Pencil, Eraser, Gum tube, Stapler, Black/ Blue ball point pen

7 Nos. passport size photograph

2 Nos. Self-addressed (24x10 cm) white envelope without any postal stamp.

3 Nos. Photocopies of each documents of all educational certificates and mark sheets and domicile certificate.
