Bengal College of Engineering and Technology was set up in 2001. The College is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), under Ministry of HRD, the Govt. of India and is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).
Admission procedure in this engineering college
The admissions to different B.Tech courses are made through the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Board of Examination for Engineering & Technology and through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the CBSE Board. Admission through Lateral Entry for Diploma engineering students in II year is also possible.
