Bethuadouri Forest: This is a reserve forest for different species of Deer, 15 Km away from Mayapur. West Bengal Forest department maintains this reserve forest. Night stay in this forest is possible. Forest Department Bunglow inside the forest is available for tourists. One has to contact West Bengal Forest Department to stay here.
KrishnaNagar: 15 Km away from Mayapur. The old town attracts tourists for its historical values. Main tourist attraction spots are Cathedral charch, old Palace of Maharaja Krishnachadra and house of famous Gopal Bhar.
Ghurni Putulpatti at Krishna Nagar is famous for making mud sculpture in the Country.
How to reach Mayapur-transport services

Local trains from Howrah to Katwa are available all the time. One has to get down at Nabadwip station and from there can reach Mayapur crossing the river Ganga by boat service.
Intercity express from Howrah to Nabadwip station is also available. Passengers from Sealdah station have to reach Krishnanagar station first and from there local buses available for Mayapur.
