 Near about places to visit


Chilkigarh Raj Palace and Kanak Durga Temple:  It is located at about 12 Km away from Jhargram and bewteen the Raj Palace and Kanak Durga Temple there is a river named Dulung. There are many different types of trees and plants surround the temple. A typical species of monkeys live near the temple.


Kendua: This place lies in between Chilkigarh and Jhargram. And is famous for migrating birds and attracts bird lover tourists.


Deer Park: The deer park is situated at about 3 Km from Jhargram town. This is actually a mini zoo with many wild animals and birds.


Jungle Mahal: Jungle Mahal is situated in the south of Jhargram. It is actually in the Salboni between Jhargram and Lodhasuli.  Dense forest with animals used to attract tourists. Presently Maoist activities have increased in this area so tourists are avoiding Jungla Mahal.
