By Rail: There are two railway stations in Berhapore, Berhampur Court and Khagra Ghat railway station. Berhampore Court is the main station and it is connected with Sealdah Station at Kolkata. Khagra Ghat station is connected with North Bengal and North-East India. Main trains plying between Sealdah and Berhampore Court are Hazarduari Express, Bhagirathi Express and Lalgola Passenger.

What to visit in Berhampore – tourist attraction places in Berhampore
Berhampore means historical palaces, monuments, mosques and gardens. The biggest attraction of Berhampore is Hazarduari palace. This Hazarduari palace attracts lot of tourists from different parts of the state and country. It is a three storied mansion converted in to a museum by the Archeological Survey of India. Hazarduari means “palace with thousand doors”. It was the palace of the Nawab. Hazarduari palace was built in the 1830s. The palace has a banquet hall lined with mirrors and a circular Durbar Hall. There is a huge collection of arms used in the battle of Palashi, the swords of Alibordi and Siraj-ud-Doula. The museum has a library with more than 10, 000 books.
The museum also displays a vast collection of arms and armour including cannons which were used at the crucial battle of Plassey.
Katra Mosque: The Katra Mosque was built in 1724. Cementary of Nawab Murshid Quli Khan is below the front staircase of this beautiful mosque.
Kathgola is the palace garden of Raja Dhanpat Singh Dugar and Lakshmipat Singh Dugar. Famous Adinath Temple is situated in this palace garden. A large number of tourists visit this garden daily.
Wasef Manzil: This Palace was built by Wasef Ali Mirza, Nawab of Berhampore. This palace is very near to Hazarduari Palace.
Jahan Kosha, a huge cannon is placed at about 1 km of Katra Mosque. This canon is 17.5 ft long and weighs 16,880 lb
Jafarganj: The ruined palace of Mir Jafar is located at about half a mile from the Hazarduari Palace. The Cemetery contains the tombs Mir Jafar, Mir Jafar's father, Alivardi Khan's sister, Mir Jafar's widows and many more.
Khosh Bagh is located on the opposite banks of river Bhagirathi. The grave of Nawab Alivardi Khan, Alivardi's Mother, Siraj-ud-Doula and his wife Lutfannesha are here.
The Nasipur Palace was built by Kirti Chand. Within the palace there is a temple called Ramachandra Temple. This is a famous and largest temple of the district. There is another temple called Lakshmi-Narayana temple which is famous for Jhulanjatra celebrations.
Motijheel: Motijheel is located at one km South of Lalbagh. Warren Hastings once lived here.
Imambara: Near the Hazarduari Palace, there is the famous Nizamat Imambara,
This Imambara is the largest in West Bengal.
