Few words about the Engineering College
Sir J. C. Bose School of Engineering is located at Mankundu, just near the railway station. This Engineering College is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) and approved by AICTE.
This institute has all the facilities required for a good Engineering College.
Class Rooms are well equipped with modern teaching aids. Lecture Halls, AC Computer Laboratories, Library, Offices, AC Conference Room, Medical facilities, Hostel facilities for students, sports facilities are available in this Engineering College.

B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) – 60 seats
B.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) – 120 seats
B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) – 120 seats
B.Tech (Applied Electronics & Instrumentation. Engineering.) – 60 seats
Admission to Sir J. C. Bose School of Engineering
80% of the total intake in all streams is through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. 10% students are admitted through AIEEE and the remaining 10% under Management Quota.
Lateral entry is possible in Sir J. C. Bose School of Engineering.
Hostel & other facilities for students
Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided in Sir J. C. Bose School of Engineering. Hostel Superintendent takes care for maintaining proper atmosphere in the hostels.
The College provides medical facilities to students. Sir J. C. Bose School of Engineering has a well equipped first-aid and emergency treatment room in the college and a small nursing home with specialist doctors. Cost of treatment is to be paid by students.
Sir J. C. Bose School of Engineering has arrangements with Banks for the availability of Educational loan depending on some conditions.
