Recruitment of Trainee Engineers, Officers and Professionals in North Eastern Electric Power Corporation


North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited - NEEPCO, a Government of India Enterprise will recruit Trainee Engineers, Officers and Professionals. Details about the recruitment is given below:

 Post: Trainee Engineer (Civil)
Number of vacancies: 10 of which general candidate – 10, SC – 3 and OBC – 2
Essential Qualification: The candidate should be BE/B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg./AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum 65% marks. For SC and ST candidates a relaxation of 5% is given.


Post: Trainee Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical)

Number of vacancies: 10 of which general candidate – 5, SC – 2, ST – 1 and OBC – 2

Essential Qualification: The candidate should be BE/B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg./AMIE in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% marks. For SC and ST candidates a relaxation of 5% is given.


Post: Trainee Officer (Geology)

Number of vacancies: 4 of which general candidate – 2, SC – 1 and OBC – 1

Essential Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech. in Applied Geology with minimum 65% marks and a grace of 5% for SC/ST candidates.


Post: Trainee Officer (IT)

Number of vacancies: 5 of which general candidate – 4 and OBC – 1

Essential Qualification: BE / B.Tech. / B.Sc Engineering in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering/ Electronics & Communication/IT or MCA with 65% marks. For SC and ST candidates the marks is 55%.


Post: Medical Officer

Number of vacancies: 4 of which general candidate – 2, SC – 1 and OBC – 1

 Essential Qualification: MBBS

Post: Jr. Company Secretary

Number of vacancies: 1
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any stream with membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Post: Trainee Personnel Officer

Number of vacancies: 4 of which general candidates – 2, OBC – 1 and PWD – 1.

Essential Qualification: Graduate candidates with either full time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Personnel & Administration /Industrial Relations / Human Resource Development / Human Resource Management.  Minimum marks should be 65% and for SC / ST candidates it should be 55%.


Post: Trainee Accounts Officer

Number of vacancies: 6 of which general candidates – 3, SC – 1, OBC – 1 and PWD – 1.

Essential Qualification: Candidate should be CA/ICWA or Graduate with full time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Finance. Minimum marks should be 65% and for SC/ST candidates it should be 55%.


Post: Deputy Manager (Finance)

Number of vacancies: 4 of which general candidates – 3, OBC – 1.

Essential Qualification: Candidate should be CA/ICWA or Graduate with full time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Finance. Minimum marks should be 65% and for SC/ST candidates it should be 55%.

Candidate should have minimum 7years experience in relevant field.

Selection Procedure:  First of all the applications will be short listed and written test and interview for candidates for the posts of Trainee Engineer and/ Officer. For the other candidates, selection will be done through interview only.
