Noted industrialist Harshavardhan Neotia is the Chairman of this Engineering College.

Institute Of Technology And Marine Engineering ITME has received approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). This Engineering College is approved by Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India for Marine Engineering and natural science courses.

Admission to Institute Of Technology And Marine Engineering

For undergraduate courses in Institute Of Technology And Marine Engineering admission is done through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and AIEEE.

For admission to Marine Engineering and natural science courses, the following criteria’s are to be fulfilled:

Interested candidate must have aggregate of 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their class XII or any equivalent examination.

Candidates must have 50% marks in English in their Class X or Class XII. The age-limit is 25 years.

Physically fit candidate is a must.
