Admission procedure in Presidency University has been started. Read this article to get the salient features associated with admission in Presidency University 1st year course in 2012.
Presidency University invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in 1st year B.A. and B.Sc honours courses in 2012-2013 academic session. Candidates have to submit application form online at www.presidencyadmission.net .
A candidate can apply for maximum 3 honours subjects excluding English and Mathematics. Students applying in English and Mathematics can apply in one more subject only. Eligible candidates have to appear in admission test. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate of the percentage of aggreagate of top four subjects in the last examination and the marks obtained in admission test.

Dates of submission of forms: 1June 2012 to 10 June 2012
Dates of deposit of application fees: 6 June 2012 to 12 June 2012
Admission tests to be held on: 14 June to 19 June
Publication of provisional merit list: 29 June 2012, it will be displayed on the departmental notice board and in the website www.presidencyadmission.net
Counselling and admission will be done on: 3 July and 4 July 2012 for B. Sc. And 5 July 2012 for B.A.
Welcome address by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and classes to start on: 6 July 2012 at 11.00 am
Declaration of the vacancy position (if any): 17 July at 3.00 pm
Counselling and admission for vacant seats (if any): 20 July at 11.00 am
