Banking job – recruitment in clerical posts in Indian Bank

Indian Bank will recruit 1201 persons – boys and girls as clerks. The recruitment will be state and union territory wise. Candidates with qualified score in Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in 2011 can apply online from the bank’s website.

Essential Qualificationapart from valid IBPS score: Higher Secondary pass with at least 50% marks. For Ex-Servicemen, there is relaxation to this qualification.

Knowledge in fluent English speaking and writing and knowledge of local language is desired. Candidate should have knowledge in Computer or he or she must acquire the knowledge within 6 months of joining.

Pay Scale: Rs. 7200—Rs.19300 and other allowances. Probation period is of six months.

Age limit: within 18 to 28 years as on 1^st August 2011. There is some relaxation in age and the list is as follows:

 Age relaxation for OBC—3 yrs, SC/ST—5 yrs; PH—10 yrs, Widow/ Divorcee/legally separated woman—9 yrs
