Applications are invited for admission to M.Com. Course (Specialisation in Accounting & Finance Group only) under the University of Calcutta for the academic session 2017 – 2018. Applications will be accepted online at www.goenkacollegeadmissions.com from 05.07.2017 to 19.07.2017 (up to 02:00 P.M.).
Eligibility criteria for submission of online applications are as follows :
For General Category : Minimum 45% marks in Honours Group in B.Com. (Hons.) for the students of University of Calcutta and for the students of Other Universities.
For SC & ST: Minimum 40% marks in Honours Group in B.Com. (Hons.) for the
Category students of University of Calcutta and for the students of Other Universities.: Minimum 40.5% marks in Honours Group in B.Com. (Hons.) for For OBC-A & OBC-B the students of University of Calcutta and for the students of Category Other Universities.
Reservation of seats will be as per the rules of the Government of West Bengal (SC-22%, ST- 6%, OBC-A-10%, OBC-B-7%).3% of seats in all categories are reserved for persons with disabilities.
5% relaxation of marks is allowed for persons with disabilities as per the Government Order.
Candidates who passed B.Com. (Hons.) in 2015 / 2016/2017 are eligible to apply.
Issue and submission of form :
The Application Form will only be available online. Candidates are advised to fill in the Application Form electronically (online). In no case, filled-up forms will be received by the office of the College. For electronic submission of the Application Form log on the Admission Website of the College www.goenkacollegeadmissions.com. Candidates will have to deposit online application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 100 in Cash/Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking (Plus Bank Charges as applicable) to the Bank Account No.128801000689 (IFSC Code: ICIC0001288) of ICICI Bank.

According to the notification of the University
of Calcutta, 60% of the total seats will be reserved for students passed out
their graduate level examination from the University of Calcutta.
There will be an “Admission Test” for all other
students, i.e., the students from the University of Calcutta who are unable to
secure their position in the 60% seats reserved for the students of the
University of Calcutta and the students from all Other Universities.
The date of publication of merit list and
waiting list (for CU students), the date of Admission
(for 60% seats reserved for CU students) and the
date of “Admission Test” will be notified later in the admission website of the
college i.e. www.goenkacollegeadmissions.com.
