Process of online admission to M.Sc Course in
Microbiology, Electronic Science, Chemistry, Physics & Computer Science,2016-17 will
start on and from
28.06.2016 from 10 a.m
The applications are to be submitted through
online and no printed form will be available
Application fees of Rs.150/- +
Bank Charge of Rs.20/-(if paid in cash) may be remitted in any branch
of Axis Bank or paid online by internet banking or debit / credit card bank
transfer and NEFT
Last date of submission of online application is 09.07.2016
up to 4.00 p.m.
Eligibility : Passed 3-year B.Sc. Hons. in
respective subjects from UGC recognized University.
For Electronic Science , graduates with Hons. in
Physics may also apply.
No candidates would be allowed for admission
after a lapse of more than 2 years from the year of passing the previous
qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular course of study
after passing the last qualifying examination, the year of admission will not
be taken into account while calculating 2 years of passing the last qualifying
examination. PNC Candidates

Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/Physically Challenged candidates : As per Govt. rules .
·If ST Candidates are not available the seats
will be converted to SCReservation of seats for graduates from West Bengal
State University and graduates from other Universities :
·60% of the total seats in all the subjects are reserved for the
graduates from the colleges affiliated to the West Bengal State University.
·Remaining 40% of the total seats are opened up for open competition among
graduates from other universities /colleges including the graduates from the
colleges affiliated to the West Bengal State University.
Dates of publication of Merit lists, Counseling
and Admission
For all the subjects except Microbiology,
merit lists would be published on 18.07.2016after 12 noon at
a link www.pg.apcadmission.com.,
However for Microbiology, merit list for the candidates reserved (
60% of the total seats) for the graduates from the colleges affiliated
to West Bengal State University only will be published on 18.07.2016
after 12 noon at the same link.
Merit list would be prepared strictly on the
basis of marks secured by the candidate in the respective Honours subject in
the last qualifying examination.
In case of Microbiology for admission to 40% reserved seats opened up
for open competition among the graduates from all other universities /colleges
including the graduates from the undergraduate colleges affiliated to the West
Bengal State University a written test will be held on 21.07.2016 at 11.00a.m.in
the department of Microbiology. For preparing merit list under this category
for Microbiology weightage will be given to the marks secured in the respective
Honours subject in the last qualifying examination and the score in the
admission test and accordingly the merit list for this category will be
published on 21.07.2016 after 4.00 p.m.

Admission would be offered on the basis of the

Candidates will have to be present in the counseling half an hour
before the time of counseling in respective subjects. Attendance on the date of
counseling is mandatory for admission.
At the time of counseling, the candidates in the called list
should bring the print out of the down loaded application from affixed with a
self attested passport size photograph Self attested photocopies of all
relevant documents are to be attached with the application form.
Candidates selected after counseling in each subject will have to
take admission within 48 hours paying requisite fees at the Axis Bank, New
Barrackpore Branch only.
All the original
documents should be produced at the time of admission.
Graduates from other universities admitted in
any post graduate course will have to submit migration certificate from the
respective university within one month from the date of admission
All the admissions are provisional and the authority deserves the
right to cancel any application at the time of verification without showing any
reason whatsoever.

charges for 1st Semester)
