Presidency University Under Graduate Admission 2015 Counselling Schedule

Counselling Notice for PUBDET-2015 (for admission to various UG courses of Presidency University)

1. Venue:- Yuva Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium)

2. Date:- 31/07/2015

3. Time:- A. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B category and all PWD candidates -- 9 AM to 12 noon B. Lunch break -- 12 noon to 1 PM C. General category candidates -- 1 PM onwards

4. List of candidates (from provisional merit list) called for reporting:- A. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B category and PWD candidates – All B. General Category:- i) Departments of Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Statistics, Geology – Top 100 based on final score ii) Depts of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics – Top 150 based on final score iii) Department of Biology: Top 200 based on final score iv) Candidates claiming same final score as the last mentioned candidate (upon review by Board or otherwise) may also report.

5. Candidate has to bring the following testimonials (original):- (i) Downloaded application form (candidate can download the form again from website link through which they applied) (ii) Madhyamik or equivalent exam admit card for DOB proof (iii) HS or equivalent 10+2 exam mark sheet for aggregate proof (iv) Caste certificate and/or PWD certificate, if applicable

6. Procedure:- A. Candidates have to report physically with their original testimonials. B. Credentials would be verified first. C. The aggregate and other information like spellings would be rectified if needed. D. Then candidate would have to complete the reporting and collect the acknowledgement slip. E. Order of reporting is irrelevant for preparing the final merit list for admission. F. Candidates failing to report on that date would not be considered for admission. G. Based on reporting and verification, department-wise final (corrected) merit list for admission and waiting list will be prepared and handed over to PU authorities. H. No fees would be collected on that day. Reporting in the counseling session does not guarantee admission. I. Merit listed candidates would have to report physically at the premises of Presidency University for final admission on 3rd and 4th August, 2015 and complete admission formalities. J. A second round may take place after 10 days in case seats remain vacant.
