2019 Lok Sabha election result was in favour of BJP. Soumitra Khan of BJP defeated his nearest rival Shyamal Santra of AITC. Soumitra Khan got 657,019 votes while Shyamal Santra got 5,78,972 votes.

2014 Lok Sabha election result was in favour of AITC. Soumitra Khan of AITC defeated his nearest rival Sushmita Bauri of CPI (M). Soumitra Khan got 578,870 votes while Sushmita Bauri got 429,185 votes.

2009 Lok Sabha election result was in favour of CPI (M). Sushmita Bauri of CPI (M) defeated her nearest rival Seuli Saha of Congress. Sushmita Bauri got 541,075 votes and won the Bishnupur Lok Sabha constituency seat. Seuli Saha got 411,709 votes.
